Fitting models to data is one of the key techniques in data science, aka statistics.  Free tools, such as Google Sheets, allow younger learners to access such content.  The short pdf shows how to fit the graph of a chosen model such as linear, polynomial, exponential, sine etc to a scatterplot of data in a given column.
