The MakeCode editor for micro:bit includes support for serial and radio communication. This piece explores ways in which they can be used to send data via USB cable and wirelessly to PC applications such as Tera Term, Excel, Scratch and Fuze BASIC. Once received, data can be copied and pasted into STEM applications software such as Vernier's_ Logger Pro 3_ and GeoGebra for display, analysis and modelling. It includes the use of Microsoft's free Project Cordoba plug in for USB connection into Excel and the PicAxe's S2Bot App for wireless connection into Scratch. This opens up the door to many exciting possibilities for the development of resources to support cross-curricular STEM teaching, learning and doing
