CAS Inspire Stories

Computing at School is launching a brand-new podcast that shines a light on some of our most inspiring teachers and educators.
Hosted by Beverly Clarke (CAS National Community Manager) and Tim Wilson (CAS Regional Outreach Manager), CAS Inspire Stories is a new podcast series featuring some illustrious guests from across the computing education arena such as Microsoft UK Schools Engagement Lead Jennifer King, Mark Martin MBE aka The Urban Teacher, Instagram superstar Bethan Ware, and teacher and author, William Lau.

In the series, the guests will share their inspiring stories, their careers in education to date, some of the challenges they have faced, their hopes for the future, tips for newbies into the profession, and how educators can encourage a diverse and inclusive learning environment.

“The impact that these people have had is inspiring, as well as enlightening, entertaining and, above all, relevant for the here and now,” explains Beverly. “We believe that these are the true advocates for positive change in education and CAS Inspire Stories is the place for people to share their passion for computing and how they’re making a real impact on young people and the teaching profession at large.”

Tim continues: “There is so much great teaching practice going on right now, and it has been a privilege to have a few conversations with some truly amazing people and hear about what they’re up to.”
