Oak Academy's new Secondary resources

Oak National Academy is creating new computing curriculum resources designed for teachers to use and customise to suit their school’s curriculum.
The curriculum and resources are based on the Teach Computing Curriculum, created by the Raspberry Pi Foundation, for the National Centre for Computing Education. Building on the established and widely used NCCE materials, Oak is adapting and enhancing the TCC to reflect the evolving nature of the subject, including topics such as the growing role of AI in students' daily lives and data science. In partnership with the Raspberry Pi Foundation, the new Oak computing curriculum extends and expands on this foundation.
Lesson releases will begin in January and continue through July 2025, culminating in a fully adaptable curriculum and resources for KS1-4 available under an Open Government License at no cost to teachers. Oak is also refining the materials based on feedback from early adopters and we want teachers to help shape any future developments.
This session provides teachers with an overview of the Oak curriculum and showcases the resources designed to support effective computing teaching.
