Asimov's Laws of Robotics state :
First Law - A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
Second Law - A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
Third Law - A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
and the often-forgotten Fourth Law - When Teachers try and do robotics in the classroom we often don't know where to start.
This webinar looks to change that.
This webinar will explore how to use the BBC micro:bit as a robotics platform and how it can connect students to a career in the field of AI and Robotics.
We will explore how Robotics can be linked to the Teach Computing Curriculum for KS 2-3, how the BCS Level 1 Robotics Qualification can be used across KS 2 and 3 (and higher) to help students understand the connection between their learning and a career in the field of AI and Robotics.
During this webinar you will :-
• Discover how Computing at School can help support robotics and computing in your school
• How to connect students learning to a potential career in AI and Robotics.
• Learn how to access free resources from the micro:bit foundation such as free teacher CPD and micro:bit classroom.
