The Digdata programme is a virtual work experience and career panel offering for students in secondary and tertiary education, where data is used to solve a business problem using data.

Working with leading brands such as: Facebook, CACI, Capital One and now BT, Digdata have been working with schools, colleges and universities across the UK to showcase the breadth of career paths, opportunities and key skills to succeed in building a career in data.

The UK has a national skills shortage in this high growth area of 200k roles! With a career vertical that has tripled its demand for talent, there has been no better time to digdata!

All Digdata events are free to attend, hosted on MS Teams and outside of schools hours, and assist in meeting Gatsby benchmarks 4 and 5.

Panellists so far confirmed include:

  • Rachel Keane, Chief Data Inspirer, Data Inspiration Group
  • Jean Panagamuwa, Chief Data Risk Officer, Capital One
  • Alice Church, Senior Consultant, CACI Ltd
  • Shane Liddy, Data Analyst, BT
